In the Astotara Sata Nama (108 names of Mahaprabhu), compiled by Srila Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya, we can find two different names of Lord Caitanya. They are:
Sri Krishna Caitanya Dandadhrk: the holder of the danda and
Nyastadandakrut: the one who has established Himself at that place in the form of His danda.
Then also in Sri Saci-Tanyastakam (the prayers offered by Srila Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya) we can find a verse, which states as follows:
tam pranamaami cha sri saci-tanayam
Translation: I offer my obeisances to saci-tanaya Sri Gaurahari Who wears a tie for His kaupinas (dora) around His waist, Whose shaven head is exceedingly beautiful, and Who holds a kamandalu in one hand and a danda (staff), which vanquishes the sins of the wicked demons, in the other.
The potency of this great hidden Dandabhanga lila of Sriman Mahaprabhu is so unlimitedly strong that it can very quickly and most effectively dispel all of the obstacles on the path of devotional advancement and ensure the definite attainment of the supreme Krishna-prema bhakti. This is the final purport given by many of the great Vaisnava Acaryas, to the above prayers offered to Sriman Mahaprabhu by Srila Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya.
